Monday I woke up and realized that I only have three weeks left here in Latin America. That realization made me want to enjoy every last second of my semester here. Even though the past two weeks have been a little rough at times, this week has been fantastic and it's partly due to my positive attitude. I've been working with first graders this week, who greet me with hugs and enjoy asking me english words all day long. I have been slowing down and enjoying time with my family more this week. Making bread, chatting with my host mom while she makes empanadas and watching the daily novella have been filling my time these days. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix has also been a major part of my free time and has had a positive impact on my happiness as well. The moral of the story is that it's getting close to the end of my semester and I'm going to miss Costa Rica. Even though I am excited to think that I will soon be back home with my family and friends, I know that I will miss Costa Rica. So I am going to suck the marrow out of my last three weeks of life in Latin America. And I'll be seeing you soon back in the U.S. of A.
p.s. I have an amazing view out of my window, but I forgot my camera cord and my photobooth picture doesn't do it justice. So just know that my view is beautiful and it is one of the many things I will miss about Costa Rica.
